We visited this island in january2007..and a nice place ..beach on bothsides..rarely found!
Due to the earthshattering earthquack which caused the tsunsmi ..lifted this part of the islands
about one and half meters above the sea level..
thats why now the sand bridge which was earlier
visible only during low tides now become visible permanently! creating a good sand bridge connecting the Ross and the Smith Islands.
We saw footprints of deers which crossed across
these islands.
