Ex-Nepal prince Paras 'linked' to Dawood's fake currency racket

The revelations came during the interrogation of two Nepali nationals caught by the Madhya Pradesh ATS, while trying to smuggle in the fake currency notes into India.

The two men named this man, a prominent minister's son Yunus Ansari as the conduit between King Gyanendra's son Paras and India’s most wanted terrorist Dawood Ibrahim, who between them have been pushing crores of fake currency into India.

Reports suggest that Dawood looks at the printing and manufacture of the fake currency, while Paras is responsible for the transit of the money from other countries into Nepal and then it's flow into India.

Paras, the son of the former Nepal king, who has now taken refuge in Singapore, used his influence to ensure the money reached the transit points on the India-Nepal border without any hitch.

PLASTIC SURGE !

The late seventies brought all kind of household goods in plastic Now we can't live without it.Early morning brush to the mosquito repellant container ,it is there.It made our life easier.But when we were kids we never seen anything plastic.The pens ,spectacle frame,LP records were made of a different material called the shellac.We use to fish with the nylon lines.Everything was packed in containers of Tin or wood .Shirt buttons first appeared as plastic,then came the ballpoint pen.The containers we use to store were Horlicks bottles with tin lids,Brookbond Green Label coffee tins.

.We suffered a lot due to the saline humidity,everything made of tin and iron rusts fast near the sea,as we lived close to the sea.Painting the tin containers,the cycle ,the hinges etc.,was the only cure for rust,now you know the secret of my inclination towards colour.

Once in a year we use to paint the Trunk boxes and smoke design it .As plastic revolution took off,we saw a lot of plastic waste washed away by the sea on its shore..then came the recycling business,shore combers started scavenging for plastic waste which were sold for Rs.4 per Kilo.I even stumbled upon plastic bullets containing ammunition inside it with aluminium capsules,US army emergency food packets consisting peas,butter,paper matches,cigarette making stuff,coffee powder,sugar etc on a water proof black packet.The cold war was at its peak.Fifty cans of Foster beer ,we drank to the hilt..in those days, we can't think about it in India.

I used Reynold pens,gas lighters which reached us through the sea before we liberalised our economy.Coils of nylon ropes from the sea used to tie the cattles.The sea when roars during the monsoon brought toys for us "made in Hongkong" the militery fighters holding guns ,crawling with guns,monsters etc.We children started searching for toys on the shores.The sea brought surprises for us,sometimes a big dead sperm whale,small star fish or an abandoned Burmese Trawler,Buddha statue floating on a bamboo pantoon with lots of soiled Burma rice packets with Buddhist scriptures.

This friendly sea broke all its limits and my faith one day.....you know when it happened..the whole world knows it!!! THE TSUNAMI.

Now let me tell you how i am listening to news and read the magazine.Two years ago it was different,I tuned my radio to listen to my favourite BBC service..the reception depended on the place where i am...with all the ionospheric disturbances and thanks to our own power supply system(which i once thought a rival to radio broadcast derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr the noise didnot allowed me to listen even the local news.

Now thanks to(i don't know how long it will continue !!!) the internet.Now i can listen to my BBC without the lightning disturbing it on my laptop, connected to my home theatre system.The net radio is the ultimate thing for the listener,buffering may cause a little bit broken listening in dial up connection ,but the quality is superb.You need a good broadband connection to listen to the high quality 125kbs or more broadcasts.Now you can also broadcast via shoutcast.

STOLEN GENERATION of Australia

In school, I read about the Australian Rabbit problem in a chapter in my English Syllabus(CBSE),today when I was surfing the channels on my Tv I noticed a movie called RABBIT PROOF FENCE,and I watched it ..A simple movie about the stolen generation, of which we often come across in news papers, a true story of three half -caste aboriginal kids who escape from the camp and reach their homes,a long journey followed by a tracker(aboriginal experts who track down any thing on the wilderness easily using all their five and the sixth sense).

(my five year old son was weeping like anything after watching this movie.)

.Here we see a lot of tribal girls who were kept as maid-servants , their masters should watch this movie to understand them better,because once i witnessed that a maid servant of this kind was beaten roughly on the road-with charges of stealing money ,and brought back to the masters home while fleeing.

A class VI student commits suicide,Class V students arrested for molesting a class mate..this kind of news in daily papers disturbs me. Where are we going?In this screenage of mobilephone,TV ,Balika Badhu,Kids Reality Tv shows ,movies and exposure to news channels which work hard to get the women audience by indulging into family affairs...doing family panchayat on the TV studios and beaming it into our homes, brings closure the private lives of people .The Television is a strong media and if not used carefully they will create negativity in the minds of kids who cannot think rationally. I may be wrong blaming only the TV.

Parents, school and peers play a vital role in shaping the children’s future. Now it is not a adolescence problem, it is small kids who get angry easily and expect more from others and dream of those role models from media.

We speak of quality time with the kids. Ask any parent they will say that they are spending a lot with their kids, but how ...with the mobile on and talking to friends and the TV going ,computer running..yes this QualiTV time is not what they want!

Now the children are more intelligent than what we were at their age. They are aware of anything and everything of it.The educational system is numerical and not geometrically designed,what I mean is,not according to ones ability and talent but in a standard set of subjects a child should pass.It is like pushing all kinds of shapes and sizes inside a fixed cylinderical shape.

Let us role- play like a kid for a day in our home..be creative and learn about them...be a child once in a month...There is a kid in everyone of us, let us bring it out and become playful with our kids.

The organised frauds or the individual con man target the greedy, over-ambitious,vulnerable men and women with their glib talk and presentation.The Conman (read confidence man)deploy shills(person who endorse,convince their schemes to others,their dedication directly/indirectly towards the conman is natural ,as they are decoys)who finds and lists vulnerable,influencial people around him.Get Rich Quick schemes are planned with perfection .

Even they take advantage of religion,high moral values,social responsibilities,childrens welfare,natural disasters etc.

Confidence game or trick is played by building trust.Human nature of greed,jealousy,expectations are projected by the con man to influence.

They will bombard,brainwash the people wo are willingly or unwillingly attracted towards their schemes.They will organise some programmes and present cheques /awards to the shills to show their credebility in public.

BUT they know..that they cannot influence a honest Man !

We often hear about Signature Frauds..then why dont we change this signature based faith ?Is their any alternative to this seal- signature dependence?

Online buying has its own problem,I don't have any experience of online buying,but today I discovered the truth. My nephew sent me a Philips grooming Kit from Singapore,(so that I can avoid the barbers!),but he is not ready to speak about the price. उत्तर कोरिया का जहाज़ भारतीय सीमा में

भारतीय कोस्ट गार्ड ने उत्तर कोरिया के एक संदिग्ध जहाज़ को पकड़ा है जो बिना इजाज़त भारतीय जल सीमा के अंदर अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीप समूह के पास रुका था.

पीटीआई के मुताबिक सेना और ख़ुफ़िया ब्यूरो के अधिकारी जहाज़ की जाँच कर रहे हैं और इनमें सफ़र कर रहे लोगों से पूछताछ की जा रही है.

ये कार्गो जहाज़ चीनी लेकर उत्तर कोरिया से मध्य पूर्व जा रहा था जब कोस्ट गार्ड ने इसे देखा.

एजेंसियों के अनुसार कोस्ट गार्ड के अधिकारियों ने बताया है कि बुधवार को ये जहाज़ हट बे द्वीप के पास बिना अनुमित के रुका और जब इसे संदेश भेजने की कोशिश की गई तो जवाब नहीं आया.

इसके बाद कोस्ट गार्ड ने जाँच करने के लिए अपना जहाज़ भेजा लेकिन उत्तर कोरिया का जहाज़ आगे बढ़ना लगा और तब भारतीय कोस्ट गार्ड को हवा में गोली चलानी पड़ी.

जहाज़ में उत्तर कोरिया के 39 लोग सवार थे. अंडमान और निकोबार ट्राइ कमांड के पीआरओ अधिकारी का कहना है कि मामले की छानबीन जारी है.

चिंता

उत्तर कोरिया के जहाज़ों को लेकर अकसर चिंता इसलिए जताई जाती है क्योंकि ऐसी आशंका रहती है उत्तर कोरिया मिसाइलें और परमाणु सामग्री ऐसे देशों को भेजता है जहाँ हालात स्थिर नहीं है.

इसी वजह से उत्तर कोरिया के जहाज़ो को अकसर रोका जाता है और जांच की जाती है.अपने परमाणु कार्यक्रम को लेकर उत्तर कोरिया और बाक़ी देशों के बीच बातचीत टूट चुकी है.

मई में उत्तर कोरिया ने कई मिसाइल परीक्षण किए थे और 25 मई को भूमिगत परमाणु परीक्षण भी किया था जिसके बाद उस पर संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने प्रतिबंध और कड़े कर दिए थे.

रॉयटर्स के मुताबिक 1992 और 2003 के बीच चार ऐसी घटनाएँ हो चुकी हैं जब उत्तर कोरिया के जहाज़ों को इस शक के कारण रोका गया था कि उनमें विनाशकारी हथियार बनाने के लिए कलपुर्ज़े भेजे जा रहे हैं. source:BBC
